Interesting Competition I have a really cool competition to share with you today. My blog doesn't have a budget to run my own competition yet so I'd thought I'll share this one with you and perhaps one of my lucky readers will win a cool prize which is on offer from Case Happy. They are giving away Kindle reader plus a cool case with a built in light. I tend to keep personal achievements off of this website. I know I get annoyed when I read tweets about “It’s my cat’s birthday” or “I’ve just finished doing my nails!”, so that has made me have a negative reaction towards every bragging about anything I have accomplished, in case it annoys others for being something I really shouldn’t be bragging about. I don’t know if it is just me, but I often find my week getting away from me. With so many plates to spin on any given day, staying on top of everything is a real struggle. Fortunate, I bought an iPad recently, and I love it! I want to get the most of my new gadget now. It is full of apps to help pass the time, or stay in contact with friends. But putting it to use as a way to help me organise my life has been it’s greatest contribution so far. In fact, that was the main reason I bought it. My iPhone is perfectly capable of doing little things here and there, but I’ve actually found it a little inconvenient sometimes. It’s small screen is anything but ideal when you are trying to organise something big. So, here are some of the apps I’ve found that have helped me so far. These aren’t the only organisational apps I have, but they are the ones I’ve used the most. I have been reluctant to mention this, as I didn’t want to jinx it, but it now seems pretty certain to happen - myself and a couple of friends are going to spend our summer holiday driving around the UK, seeking out the warm shores far away from our city homes.
With most of the plans for the motorhome itself finalised, we have now started the process of figuring out our route. The general consensus seems to be that heading south is the best plan. Nothing against the north, but the south does seem to it beaten when it comes to variety and quantity. Christmas can be overwhelming. People to see, presents to buy, places to go, pheasants to pluck, etc. Staying on top of things is vital if you wish to enjoy this time of year (which is the point of a modern Christmas, right?). Well, with that in mind, here are some tips and tricks to keep you ahead of Santa this festive period. In today’s advanced world, working from home is no longer the exclusive domain of the self employed and the “I’m freelancing while on the dole” types. Now, with the internet and computers providing a stable, easy connection to the outside world, working at home is an option for people in thousands of lines of work.
And who wouldn’t want that! You can work in your pijamas, the longest commute of the day is from the breakfast table to your desk, and you could be watching Breaking Bad all day while those other suckers are stuck in a cubicle! Hi guys, I’m really excited as this week we’re publishing our first interview. Our guest today is Sean Huggett, Managing Director at Voyager Networks, specialists in Cloud, Mobility, Communication & Security Solutions and Managed Services. Father, Husband Dog & Cat Owner (make sure you follow Voyager on Twitter and Facebook). Taking break from productivity. It's Sunday afternoon and I'm chilling with my friend playing Slinky's Hangman. You may ask, "why this post on a productivity blog?" Let me tell you why. In order to be productive during the week and to avoid burnout it is very important to take regular breaks from your school or work routine, I would suggest to have at least one day a week reserved for complete chill-out. But now without further ado lets get to the review of a free game from Slinky Productions which kept me entertained this afternoon.
